The company's R&D team is led by technological innovation, and founder, chairman, and executive director Zou Ange has over 34 years of experience in the sea cucumber aquaculture industry. Mainly responsible for formulating corporate strategies and business development plans, playing an important role in participating, leading, and commanding the company's development. Given the level and capability of sea cucumber aquaculture, in 2019, he was invited by the Shandong Institute of Marine Resources and Environment to serve as a visiting researcher. Zhang Jianwei, the backbone of the company's business, has over 22 years of experience in the sea cucumber aquaculture industry. Zou Shifang has 33 years of experience, Liu Yongqi has 28 years, and Wang Zengdong has 17 years. Zhang Jianwei, Zou Shifang, and Liu Yongqi have been hired as senior engineers by Yantai Aquatic Technology Promotion Station since 2019. Liu Yongqi has been engaged in breeding and seedling technology research and development for over 15 years. Wang Zengdong holds a master's degree from Ocean University of China and is a senior engineer. He has been working on the research and development production line and is committed to innovation in seedling technology. The above five people are experienced and strong management team leaders of the company.

The other R&D business backbone is composed of 23 employees from various departments of the group, including licensed technical personnel and practicing assistant aquatic animal veterinarians. The company is committed to researching and developing matters related to sea cucumber breeding, and has strong research and development capabilities. The R&D team is composed of personnel with professional knowledge and rich experience in frontline production in the Chinese sea cucumber breeding industry. In addition to mainly collaborating with Dalian Ocean University, we also collaborate with other leading agricultural universities and institutions in China, including the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, the Shandong Institute of Marine Biology, and the Yantai Institute of Fishery Research, to develop and raise systems and processes related to sea cucumbers. The research projects conducted have made positive contributions in preventing the spread of sea cucumber related diseases without the use of antibiotics, developing different feed mixtures and feeding techniques to improve efficiency and yield.

For many years, the company has conducted in-depth cooperation with institutions such as the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, the Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dalian Ocean University, Ocean University of China, Shandong Institute of Marine Resources and Environment, and Yantai University. A company expert committee consisting of more than 10 aquatic experts, including Yang Hongsheng, Chang Yaqing, Li Qi, Wang Qingyin, and Wang Yingeng, has been established to guide the company's research and production. We will continue to improve our R&D capabilities and are currently breeding Anyuan No.1 with better biological characteristics to obtain a new variety that is expected to surpass Anyuan No.1 in terms of thorn quantity and weight gain rate.

The research institute mainly collaborates with organizations such as the China Fisheries Association and Yantai Sea Cucumber Industry Federation, as well as experts and professors from research institutions such as the Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Yellow Sea Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Yantai University, Ludong University, and Dalian Ocean University, firmly grasping the industry direction and adapting to local conditions to connect with government authorities in major sea cucumber producing areas such as Liaoning, Shandong, Fujian, and Hebei.
