While increasing our own research and development capabilities, we have successively carried out in-depth cooperation with institutions such as the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, the Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dalian Ocean University, China Ocean University, Shandong Institute of Marine Resources and Environment, Yantai University, etc. We have established a company expert committee consisting of more than 10 aquatic experts, including Yang Hongsheng, Chang Yaqing, Li Qi, Wang Qingyin, and Wang Yingeng, to guide the company's research and production. The company has participated in more than 10 national 863 plans and provincial and municipal science and technology development plans, and has won 13 invention patents, the second prize of national level science and technology progress, the second prize of Shandong provincial science and technology progress, and the third prize of Yantai city science and technology progress. The completed Shandong Province Science and Technology Development Plan project "Large scale Winter Cultivation Technology for Sea Cucumber Seedlings" has reached the international leading level; The research project on the establishment of new strains of sea cucumber and their early embryonic cytology, completed in cooperation with Yantai Fisheries Research Institute, has reached a leading level in China; The project "Nutrition Requirements and Efficient Feed Research and Development of Sea Cucumber" in collaboration with the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences has been awarded the "China Industry University Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award" by the China Industry University Research Promotion Association. The successfully researched "Anyuan 1" sea cucumber new aquatic variety has been recognized and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, becoming one of the eighteen new aquatic varieties announced nationwide in 2018. The new variety of sea cucumber "Anyuan 1" has the advantages of fast growth rate, numerous thorns, high processing yield, good appearance, good taste, tender and smooth texture, and rich nutrition. The nutritional components of sea cucumber, including energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, sodium, etc., meet the food quality and safety admission standards and have obtained the Chinese organic product certification mark.

A New Aquatic Variety of Sea Cucumber "Anyuan 1"

The new aquatic product variety "Anyuan 1" of the company's sea cucumber was officially awarded a certificate at the National Aquatic Seed Industry Promotion Achievement Exhibition in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The successful research and development of the company's new varieties marks a new height in the field of seedling cultivation and a new starting point for the company. Based on the current development status of China's aquaculture industry, the company fully leverages the leading role of sea cucumber seedling cultivation enterprises, and utilizes a series of modern biotechnology technologies such as fermentation engineering and microbial engineering to improve the nutritional value of feed, enhance animal health, and ensure food safety in high-end feed production. Therefore, the development of aquaculture is an important way to ensure food supply. In the future, aquaculture must rely on technological innovation to drive the implementation of circular water facility aquaculture and deep sea aquaculture, leading the quality revolution of aquatic feed, ensuring green breeding, and ensuring the high quality of new varieties of sea cucumber. This is the future development direction of aquaculture technology innovation.

1、 Main characteristics of sea cucumber "Anyuan 1"

(1) Morphological traits. The body is brown, black brown, and yellow brown in color, slightly darker than that of the Chinese population. The warts (thorns) on the surface of the body are arranged in a relatively regular six rows (six rows of thorns), generally protruding obvious thorns. The average number of thorns is more than 45, the length of the warts is longer, the end is pointed and thin, and the bone fragments are mainly table shaped.

(2) Cytogenetic characteristics. The somatic chromosome is 2 fold, 2n=46.

(3) Economic characteristics. After four generations of continuous breeding, the new variety of sea cucumber "Anyuan 1" has a large number of thorns, with an average of more than 45, and a fast growth rate. The growth rate is increased by more than 10% compared to the control group, and the processing yield is increased by more than 10%.

2、 The main advantages of sea cucumber "Anyuan 1"

(1) There are a large number of warty feet (thorns) on the surface of the body, arranged in a relatively neat 6 rows. The average number of obvious thorns in adult sea cucumber reaches 45 or more;

(2) The processing yield is high, with a processing yield increase of more than 10% compared to the Chinese control;

(3) Developed with high survival rate and fast growth rate, the growth rate is increased by more than 10%, and the breeding yield is high.

3、 The Promotion and Application Value and Potential of the New Variety of Sea Cucumber "Anyuan 1"

The new variety of sea cucumber "Anyuan 1" has the advantages of fast growth rate, a large number of thorns, and high processing success rate. After three years of seedling cultivation, breeding, and sales, it has been shown that the new variety of sea cucumber "Anyuan 1" is highly popular among breeding enterprises and farmers. At the same time, the commercial ginseng after cultivation has a high processing success rate and good appearance (many thorns and long thorns), making it highly popular among processing enterprises. The sales price of commercial ginseng of the same specification is more than 10% higher than ordinary commercial ginseng, which improves the economic benefits of sea cucumber cultivation and has broad promotion prospects.

At present, we can provide over 1 million head of sea cucumber and over 500000 kilograms of seedlings annually, which can meet the needs of aquaculture production in China's main sea cucumber production areas.
