According to the Sea Cucumber Industry Branch of the China Fisheries Association, on April 3rd, in the conference room of Fujian Xiapu Yewan Aquatic Products Co., Ltd., three leading enterprises in the sea cucumber industry from Shandong, Liaoning, and Fujian provinces signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a new stage of deep cooperation among the three major production areas of China's sea cucumber industry。

Shandong is the main production area for sea cucumber industry seedlings in China, with the highest quality and quantity of seedling breeding in the country. There are 6 new national level sea cucumber varieties, and Shandong has 5 of them. Shandong Anyuan Seed Industry Technology Co., Ltd. is the chairman unit of the Sea Cucumber Industry Branch of the China Fisheries Association. In 2021, it was rated as an advantageous enterprise in China's aquatic seed industry breeding and promotion, and has been committed to promoting sea cucumber seedling breeding. In 2018, after 10 years of breeding, "Anyuan 1" passed the national approval for a new variety of sea cucumber. After more than three years of promotion and application, it was favored by farmers due to its fast growth rate, large number of thorns, and high processing yield. It has become the highest market share of the new sea cucumber variety in China. Liaoning Jinzhou Shengda Sea Cucumber Breeding Company is the vice chairman unit of the Sea Cucumber Industry Branch of the China Fisheries Association, mainly engaged in pond aquaculture. It is a major cooperative enterprise of Shandong Anyuan Seed Industry Technology Co., Ltd. The large-scale high-quality cultivation of "Anyuan No.1" sea cucumber seedlings ranks first in China. Xiapu Yewan Aquatic Products Co., Ltd. is the executive chairman unit of the Sea Cucumber Industry Branch of the China Fisheries Association and the chairman unit of the Sea Cucumber Association of Xiapu County. It is a leading enterprise in Xiapu Sea Cucumber breeding and storage.
